Dr Matthias Alberti and Almut Rix
A journey through the history of the earth with minerals, rocks and fossils
What does a crystal feel like? How can you recognise a fossil with your hands? On this special guided tour, we discover the world of geology and the earth's history through touch and feel. We start by learning about the building blocks of the earth: Crystals, minerals and rocks. We then embark on a journey through the development of our planet and life - with selected fossils that are particularly easy to touch.
Admission and participation are free of charge.
Please note! Due to the closure of the Kunsthalle zu Kiel, the programme will take place in the Geological and Mineralogical Museum, Ludewig-Meyn-Str. 12, 24118 Kiel.
