Experience Eutin Castle in all its ancient splendour
At long last, the most significant sculptures from the Kiel Collection of Antiquities are once again open to the public following the closure of the Kunsthalle zu Kiel in September 2023!
In the spacious special exhibition ‘In the Mirror of Antiquity’ in the rooms of Eutin Castle, these sculptures will be on display until 1 November 2026, inviting visitors to experience and, in the truest sense of the word, grasp the dialogue and interrelationships between stately rooms and significant works of art from antiquity.
One thing we can reveal already: the ancient sculptures seem as though they were made especially for Eutin Castle…!
The meeting point is at 2.45 pm on the castle bridge in front of Eutin Castle. Ample parking is available in the immediate vicinity.
Participation is free of charge.
