Off into the city! Urban sketching in and around the pop-up pavilion

Urban sketching describes the desire to study nature in urban spaces. Allowing what has been observed to flow directly onto paper opens up many possibilities. The format invites you to train your eye and hand with simple graphic tools - sketchpad, watercolours and the joy of sketching. We look for motifs in the centre of the city and deal with perspective, image detail, figure in space, chiaroscuro and daring pictorial solutions. There are many motifs around the old market: people in motion or in a café, colourful shops, St. Nikolai or the Holstenbrücken canal. In addition to architecture, we practise quickly capturing figures. There is an introduction to this. In the POP-UP pavilion, we use the view of the market and the surrounding area. At the end, we will look at the results together.

Please bring along: Drawing utensils as required (pencils, pens, sketchpad, watercolours) and possibly camping stools. Basic equipment and seating are available.
