WORLDS OF LIFE

In this exhibition, pupils from four classes in years 7 to 13 show how diverse the view of their own world can be - sometimes up close, sometimes surprisingly different. The works were created as part of a cooperation project between the Kunsthalle zu Kiel and photographer and poetry slammer Stefan Schwarck.

The starting point was their own mobile phone gallery - a place full of memories, the everyday and the extraordinary. The pupils did not use newly created photos, but worked exclusively with existing images from their gallery. On closer inspection, through deliberately chosen sections and in creative compositions, these images open up new perspectives and show the potential that lies in everyday shots.

The exhibition is open from 29 August to 26 September 2025 from Thursday to Saturday from 3 pm to 6 pm.
