Experiencing art with all the senses not only offers added value to people with special needs and abilities.

Together with our experienced cooperation partners, we are constantly developing formats and offers. Tactile images, detailed descriptions of works, guided tours with sign language interpreters and workshops with mindfulness exercises enable our guests to have a lasting and individual art experience.

Art to touch

In the exhibition Wild, the Weird and the Wonderful. Focusing on nature in the Kunsthalle Collection, four works of art can be experienced independently by blind visitors through tactile reliefs and accompanying audio recordings.

To the audio recordings (in German):

Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Fränzi, ca. 1911

Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Female Nude in a Tub, ca. 1911

Alexander Kanoldt, Still Life with Books and Lily, 1916

Christoffer Wilhelm Eckersberg, Farm in Spejlsby on Møn, 1810
