Print & Sea - Your art project in the Kunstwerft
Print & Sea - Your art project at the Kunstwerft
In this three-day workshop, we will take an artistic look at the Baltic Sea and the topic of marine pollution. First, we will go on a research walk along the Kiellinie, record motifs in sketches and collect materials whose structures we will later use in the intaglio printing process. In the studio, we will create our own printing plates and first prints.
On the second day, curation takes centre stage: we look through existing printing plates and together select suitable motifs for an exhibition. You will slip into the role of a curator and learn how an exhibition is planned - from hanging to the accompanying text to preparing an opening speech.
On the third day, the works are finally installed. At the end, we open the room to parents and visitors to present the results together. This allows you to experience first-hand how an art project is realised from the idea to the exhibition.
Please remember to bring a small snack for the break!
