For many years, the Schleswig-Holstein Art Association has offered its members trips to international art events. The trips to art are often related to works from the collections of the Kunsthalle zu Kiel or current exhibitions.

Angeln
11 October 2024
We will travel together by bus to Gottorf Castle, where you will be given a guided tour of the exhibition ‘Joana Vasconcelos. Le Château des Valkyries’. At Wittkielhof, Ingrid Roosen-Trinks will talk about the Kunst für Angeln e.V. association and provide insights into her collection. After lunch together, she invites you to a preview of the exhibition ‘Photography Art - Icons of Photographic Art’. Finally, we will visit the studio of Otto Jeschke, who received an audience award at the last Landesschau.

Japan
The art trip
6 November to 17 November 2022
This diverse island nation is famous for its scenic beauty and rich art and culture. Japan's contemporary architecture and design are also in demand internationally.
The round trip led from Tokyo via Kyoto to Naoshima and was dedicated to the culture of the country, where tradition and modernity coexist. The Fuji-san as well as the gardens also had their fixed place in the journey.
Documenta fifteen and Derneburg Castle
19-21 August 2022
The unusual concept of this so important art exhibition, which takes place every five years in Kassel and each time integrates new places in the city space, makes curious and questions the traditional concept of art!
The way back leads via Derneburg Castle with its magnificent collection of contemporary art.
