Introduction to printmaking techniques

Interactive tour, drawing, letterpress/ intaglio printing

Here the pupils discover the diversity of artistic printing techniques and try out this exciting process for themselves. The pupils learn about a selection of printing techniques by looking at selected sheets of paper together. Afterwards, preliminary drawing studies inspired by works from the collection will be made and, depending on the age group, the pupils will produce their own artworks in stamp printing or drypoint etchings on the printing press.
